It's a full-featured web-based e-mail software so and your outside sales team will feel at home no matter what part of the world you might find yourself in.

So you have two domains called www.widgets.com and www.superwidgets.com? No problem. Let us know and we'll point them both at the same site. Free of charge!

Auto-Responders (Super package)
Automate your business! Create an e-mail address called howtouse@widgets.com and whenever someone sends an e-mail to howtouse@widgets.com, they'll get a customized reply that shows them how to use widgets! If you're on vacation, you can set up an autoresponder to tell your customers when you'll be back in town, or to give them alternate contact information. What you can do with your auto-responder is limited only by your imagination.

SSL Secure Sites (Super package)
If you are taking credit cards on the Internet, or if you have to transmit sensitive data, we can help you set up an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) website. This allows data to be encrypted between your website and your customers. When they go to a secure page, it will look like https://www.widgets.com and a lock will appear in their web browser to show them the transaction is secure and you care about their privacy. This requires the purchase of an SSL certificate and is only available with our Super Business package.

Free SSL Pages (Super package)
However, if appearance is not important to you, you can use RareHost's FREE SSL certificate but you will have to direct your visitors to a special URL on RareHost's own site. Inquire about this feature for more information.

Daily Backups (All Packages)
RareHost.com makes daily backups of all of our customer's websites. We can't however guarantee the integrity of that backup on any given day for many reasons. It is important that you keep backups of your own website on your own computer. However, in the event that isn't possible, we will make every attempt to be here as a "back-up" for you.

FTP/SSH Access (All Packages)
Once you create a website, you will want to upload the pages to one of our servers. It's easy with FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and it's even more secure with SSH or SSH2. We prefer that you use SSH2 to upload your data, but it can be very complicated for the average user. Therefore we also offer FTP (File Transfer Protocol). You will need an FTP client like CuteFTP (www.cuteftp.com) to transfer the data to your website or you can do it from your Web-Based Control Panel.

Anonymous FTP Server (Super package)
This is only available by request due to security issues. You can give anyone in the world access to upload and download files from your Anonymous FTP server. However, we have strict requirements that this data is legal! If someone uploads illegal files to your anonymous FTP server, we may have to shut down your site for legal reasons. That is why we only offer this feature by special request.

Private FTP Servers (Super package)
You can create user accounts in your control panel and allow other users access to share the files on your website. They can also create their own webpages that will be a subdirectory off of your main webpage, like this: http://www.widgets.com/~joeschmoe/. This feature is meant for members of your company or family. Pay special attention when you give someone access to your FTP server that you know and trust them. You are responsible for any data they upload to your site, even if it's illegal, and in certain situations they can do things to break your web pages. Ask us if you are not sure whether something is legal or not or if you are not sure that you should give someone access to your website.

MajorDomo Mailing List Server (Super package)
Now you can have a mail list server that people love and are already familiar with! You can use it to have Inter-Office discussions with your staff, or to reach out and communicate openly with your visitors and customers on a daily basis. Your list members can also chat on your mailing list with you and your other list members, and will have many features available to them to customize their mailing list experience. Your discussions will be archived so that you or your members can refer to previous discussions whenever they need to or to catch up.

This is a very popular shopping cart. It's easy to set-up with your web-based control panel. It does require the purchase of a license when you are ready to use it. It allows you to create a store so customers can browse through merchandise and make purchases whenever they want to.

This free and popular shopping cart software will have you accepting orders in no time. It's fully customizable and open-source, and can be installed in a matter of minutes from your web-baesd control panel. It fully integrates with all major payment processing gateways.
